The Smart Portal will measure your carbon emissions using the Global Logistics Emissions Council’s (GLEC) framework,Â
which is the only globally recognised methodology for harmonised calculation and reporting of the logistics GHG footprint across the multi modal supply chain.
Measurements will be split into three categories:
Well To Tank (WTW) – An average of all the GHG emissions released into the atmosphere from the production, processing and delivery of a fuel or energy vector.
Tank To Wheel (TTW) – Describes the use of fuel in the vehicle and emissions during operation.
Well To Tank To Wheel (WTW) – Calculates the sum of upstream (well-to-tank) and downstream (tank-to-wheel) emissions.
